He piles on the sofa pillows up and tunnels under them.


At night when it is time to go to bed him and his daddy hide under the covers from me. I always peek under and get a little scream out of him.

I was trying to get a nice picture of him smiling with his birthday button on his shirt but it wasn't happening. Check it out, he has his hand in the pocket of his jeans. Gracie showed him where they were. All day he played with his pockets!


He is not so sure about these bags, he would rather tear into a present.


He isn't really playing Wii but we let him have a remote so he can jump around with the bigger boys pretending to play.


He is opening what is to be his Elmo microwave (that I HATE but he LOVES). It makes so much noise!

His new car that he was intimidated of.


It took a little while but he decided after seeing some of the other kids getting into his car he should try it on for size.


He is clapping along to the Happy Birthday song.


We actually did a double birthday. Aaron and his cousin Gracie who turned 6. This is her castle cake I made her, she has been asking for it for 2 years. Aaron had a little boy castle cake but he destroyed it before it was put out. You can't tell in either of these pictures but he is missing a front tooth on top. We were over at Rene's playing and he fell face first into their old ginormous console tv. He hit his mouth so hard on it that it split his tooth in half all the way up into his gums. He had to go and have it removed. He has a appointment to have a false one put in its place to keep his pretty teeth straight and aligned.

We were sitting on the sofa together watching Blue Clues, he kept laughing at the things that Blue was doing. I love that he gets what is going on and knows what is funny.

For his birthday party we invited family and friends to McDonald's. We all had lunch and then went to town on this Elmo cake I made for him. It also had matching Elmo cupcakes which Aaron got and LOVED!



We were singing Happy Birthday to Aaron in this picture. You can see Brandon is having to hold his hand back because he wanted so badly to touch that flame.







This is Aaron's bestest friend or girlfriend if you will. Any time we are together the first thing they do is give each other kisses. Finally got it on film.



That night after his birthday party we took him to Red, Hot & Blue for the grand opening of a new restaurant location. He chowed down on that food, but his favorite was the banana pudding.
